The Caretaker (1967)
This amusing, original elusive play more than any other has established Pinter as one of the leaders of the New English Theatre. In a world which has become Pinter-conscious, this is regarded as his most successful and important play. His one-acts, “The Collection" and “The Room” were seen last summer at ACT, and “The Homecoming" has just won most of the Tony Awards in New York. You will want to see this play.
